The reality is that yes, you can collect Social Security, workers’ compensation and long-term disability benefits all at the same time. There may be some set-offs off of each other where the total benefit amount typically cannot exceed what you were making before you went out on disability.
So, for example, the combination of social security and worker’ compensation benefits cannot be more than 80% of what you were making prior to going out on disability or workers’ compensation. Moreover, if you’re receiving long-term disability benefits, they will typically reduce their benefit payment by any payments you’re receiving from Social Security and/or workers’ compensation, but it is possible to be receiving benefits from all three.
